Humble Beginnings: Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two New York streetvendors. In 1992, fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Nyemaembarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional Africanrecipes withfair trade ingredients. Today Nubian Heritage offersculturally authentic natural products inspired by global ancienthealing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made inbath tubs, little else has changed; the company still makes its own products, still uses fair tradeingredients and still invests incommunity commerce.
Heritage: Lavender's use as a versatile botanical essence dates back to ancient times. First cultivated by the Arabians, it is thought to have spread across Europe from the Greek Hyeres Islands. Egyptians, phonenicians and the people of Arabia valued Lavender for its treasured fragrance and remarkable rejuvenating and soothing properties.
